In June 2013, the Clean Energy Technical Education Task Force was authorized (Chapter 3, Acts of 2013).

The Task Force will study the programs and courses currently being offered in clean energy with particular emphasis on wind energy. The Task Force also will identify areas in which additional programs and courses should be offered at community colleges in Maryland.

Authorization for the Task Force ends July 31, 2014.
